Reading Bulliten board

I took this picture at Slippery Rock Elementary School. It is a bulletin board about reading. I like the colors that were used on it. There are a few too many colors, but they all match each other well. The letters are a good size, but they are all capital instead of being mixed. Also, having them "bounce" around looks sloppier than if they would just be straight. I like the how the grass is cut to look more realistic. Around the edges, are small books that were colored by students and have each of their names on one. This is a nice idea, but it would be somewhat difficult to see from far away. The bulletin board is in a hallway, so the furthest away from it someone can be is about 8 feet, so the books are visible from there. The black letters are easy to see against the lighter background. I think, with just a few changes, this could be an excellent bulliten board.

I'm glad I read your description of the bulletin board because I had no idea that those were books for the border! This was a cute idea for a bulletin board, just a few adjustments and it would be great!
